In 2008, one of our co-founders was employed in an advertising agency when a client in Halifax, Nova Scotia requested a large neon billboard. Following his preliminary research, he discovered that traditional neon signs can be prohibitively expensive and are not environmentally friendly because harmful substances such as mercury are used to enhance the colour of neon gas. He continued his research to find an alternative that is both affordable and environmentally friendly. He discovered at the time that led neon signs are more eco-friendly and less expensive than traditional gas neon signs. After a few months of research, he decided to open his own local workshop that made handmade led neon signs for local businesses. Neon Fever is currently serving customers in United States and Canada, with headquarters in Toronto.
